Creating a green wall at the lower level with bespoke curved cedar planters softened the look out from the kitchen in this garden. Using steel rope wire for railings kept a more open feeling to the garden and distracted from the huge height difference of the two levels. The slatted fencing allowed light through while maintaining privacy from the neighbours.
