Studio 54 Architecture asked me to design the planting for the perimeter of a very large rooftop play area for Forest School. They were expanding and refurbishing the prep school as well as replacing the entire facade. It was unusual to have the planting on the outside of the glass screen and involved safety harnesses and lanyards to access the wooden planters. The brief was to create a naturalistic planting scheme with low maintenance, wind tolerant plants and grasses.
