St. John's Wood 1

This is a very long garden that needed definition and the creation of different areas. I responded by creating three very different spaces - the terrace, the lawn with lush planting and a secret garden at the back with space for table tennis. The blue raised beds offer a change in level for the planting and some structure to the garden. The pergola walkway with a chequerboard stone detail underfoot adds some height and takes you to the lower level where I have made a feature of the beautiful Mulberrry tree by constructing a raised bed around it with a cobble detail surface.
